Have a family christmas party tonight after work. Lazy Sunday, then work again on Monday. Gonna veg out and sleep most of the day on christmas. Then work resumes Wednesday.

Baby shower for #2 today, Seahawks game tomorrow and then bouncing around town to various family members houses for holiday celebration. Luckily I don’t have to go back to work until Thursday so I’ll get to relax a little.

Since my wife is recovering from surgery from last week we shipped the kids off to the grandparents. They are now in Hawaii. I think they are having fun without us.

I work all next week aside from Christmas. The jets keep flying. I may drive the 90 Mini to work a few days if it is dry.

i decided i absolutely had to take part in the supermarket raffle last nigh at 10... but needed to spend $25 on shopping to get a ticket... but as i was already pretty drunk at that point my brain said meeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaat!

so now i have fridge full of nice steaks and slabs of beef and pork ... guess ill be cooking those all week :p

other than that... i need to buy some little presents for under the tree tomorow and something nice for me mum.... and something stupid for me brother.... im thinking blowup doll

I’ll go up to Albuquerque for four or five days for Christmas with the family. I’m off work until the 8th, so I’m going to bring my dad’s miata back down with me and do a timing belt job and tune up on it.

Putting the tank back on my bike today and plan on riding that for the next few weeks. I’ll be teaching on Christmas Eve and Christmas. Teaching science classes on a holiday celebrating magical babies has always been a dream of mine.

Getting ready for my trip. Leaving for Haalem Netherlands the 26th for ten days. I turn 50 in February and it’s my gift to myself. Wanted to go to Barcelona in February but found a deal that was hard to pass up besides NYE in Amsterdam has a nice ring to it.

Xmas at the in laws as usual which is nice.

Theoretically off till Jan 2nd, but I got a new job offer at a sort of inconvenient time, so most of my 2 weeks notice period overlaps with vacation. I expect it will stay that way, but there may be some things the company needs done (turning in car, computer, printer, etc.) that could interrupt a bit, depending on their timeline.

Im about to go for a bike ride around the lake, since it’s nearly 60F. Then, I’m cooking for our party.My daughter is singing in Christmas Eve mass. Then, we get a nice relaxed Christmas Day, except for me cooking, before I drive the 900 miles to Indy with the daughter. I’m looking forward to stretching Genie’s legs on a real road trip.

Thanks! There’s plenty to see, just not from the interstate. You have to get off the highway. Except for crossing t he Mississippi and Missouri rivers. That’s pretty cool, when you think of all the history.

Flew out to BC, drove some cars, saw some friends, tasted some craft cider, celebrated with family, flying back to Ontario soon , gonna spend some time with my grandparents in Toronto , pick up my new guitar from my aunt’s place, meet my 1st cousins once removed for burgers, spend some time with my cousins in Burlington, go to the New Years housewarming party hosted by my cousin and his fiancé (they got a beautiful place close to the waterfront in Hamilton), and I’ll probably work in the time to pick up some car parts and do some snow hooning if there’s ever any snow (the holiday forecast looks pretty mild in the Golden Horseshoe) . Oh and I gotta film a project for school. Pretty busy, eh?

We are expecting the arrival of child number 3. Due date is December 26th. Child number one was a week past the due date. Child number two was two days early. It's really anyone's guess at this point. Has me nervous as heck though. First one wife had an epidural. Second one she wanted an epidural but it didn't come in time. There was a lot of screaming. Hoping to make it to the hospital in good time with this one so we can get an epidural.
